Into the Wild: Sri Lanka's Ultimate Safari Experience
Sri Lanka is a wildlife photographer's dream and a nature lover's paradise. This 5-day safari adventure takes you to two of the island's most spectacular national parks, where you'll encounter some of Asia's most iconic wildlife.
Yala National Park
Yala has the highest density of leopards in the world, making your chances of spotting this elusive big cat remarkably high. Beyond leopards, the park is home to:
- Sloth Bears - Often seen foraging in the early morning
- Wild Elephants - Herds gather at waterholes
- Crocodiles - Both saltwater and freshwater species
- Wild Buffalo - Large herds roam the grasslands
- Over 200 Bird Species - Including endemic species
Udawalawe National Park
While Yala is famous for leopards, Udawalawe is the place for elephant lovers. It's not uncommon to see herds of 50-100 elephants in a single drive. The Elephant Transit Home adjacent to the park is a rehabilitation center that prepares orphaned calves for release back into the wild.
The Safari Experience
Our safaris are conducted in open-top 4x4 jeeps with experienced wildlife trackers who know the parks intimately. Early morning and late afternoon drives maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities when animals are most active.
